cat d - can go straight back on the road with no inspection,
cat c - needs a vic check,
cat b - can be broken for parts only
cat a - crushed with no parts avalible

a cat b on very very rare times can be changed to a cat c,, to do this you need a qualified insurance assesor to make the decition that it is not a cat b and a cat c,

this very rarely happens
