bloke a can lift 500 kgs but wieghs 10 stone
bloke b can also lift 500 kgs, but weighs 20 stone
but bloke a can only lift the 500kgs in 10 kgs lumps but bloke b can lift them in 100 kgs lumps
so bloke a and b still lift the same amount of weight in total but a takes much much longer to shift it than bloke b
now change it to speed and power, the more powerful the car is the faster it's going to get to the point where it can make more use of the power
so whereas a 500 brake "new" car will do 200 mph and rod needs 800 brake +, rod's car also does it in half the space
martins needs a little bit less as his escort is a bit more areodynamic but they still have around 60% more power than the aston
