Eldest disconnected his Mac saying he doesn't need it now that he's graduated and wanted it out of his room, but now it won't power up.

I've checked the fuse in the plug, and the mains cable is delivering power along its length.

Anyone know if there is another fuse inside the internal power-supply box, or anything else I should be checking?
