AlexF, Thanks for all your help. With all the snow on the ground i cannot get it to the garage, i just have time on my hands as i am snowed in so hopefully there may be someone out there who has the knowledge to help or may have had the same problem and knows the solution. Ford are well exspensive as 500 pounds is alot of money in any ones book. i do have the use of the wifes car when the roads clear though so you can see why i am looking for a solution other than the garage route.
