anyone have any ideas what the problem may be 2 days ago car wouldnt start its a 1.7 corsa td n reg after being on the jump leads eventually fired today nothing turn the key the heater plug light not lighting at all and when try and start just a click even with jump leads give the starter a whack with a hammer that done nothing either ????? im stumped reckon could be time for a new battery or something else

any help appreciated
