this maybe silly, but is the earth strap on the engine, i've had slow turning in the past and all it was, was not earthing properly, and seeing as all starters you've tried are turning slow, it doesn't sound like a starter problem, i've got a 24v capri on ebay at the moment, and i'm sure its using the 24v granada starter.
