Hi all new here my names Brett

Got my self a old mk2 escort £1200 and 55,000 miles 2 owners :funky: and was going to have it built in to a historic rally car by the wife's uncle who has a business building mk2 escorts to rent to the Irish to use in historic rallies"these cars are so cool" BDA engines zf diffs,ap brakes, aero style looms :funky:so though he'd build me one for bugger all ............NO :bitchslap:well the prices where massive 8000 to do the shell,5000 for rear axle and brakes,BDA engine by Wilcox's was 10,000 it just went on and on well over 50,000 madness
I also bought a k reg 4x4 saph with no sunroof so Grant the wife's uncle said why not build a group a rep saph???mmmmmm I thought, yes that could be good.So he orded the cage and a shap grp a escort cossie pedal box.I will strip the cossie out to bare shell over xmas for them to seam weld and prep after xmas
pic to come soon
He looks afters all ford rally cars mk1 2,and cossie escorts, has had 1 or 2 spahs as well he said he could get some wrc/grp a bits brakes, shocks, engines parts ,diffs cheapish :-XSo I swopped the 2 for the prep work on the cossie shell well some of it
So i can't wait now

thought I'd do a stage by stage post here about my Sapphire. So I want a big power track car........one day : but for a start I will do the shell and get it to handle and stop well.
