to be honest technically if you have been the main driver of a car and been insuring it in your parents name with you as a main driver not many people know this but that is actually a form of fraud called fronting as you are giving misleading details to the insurance company to lower the premium placed upon the vehicle and an insurance company could not pay out your claim if this was to be found out

no insurance comapny in my knowledge would regard you as having any no claims you will still have ho ever many years driving exsperience you have had which will help you but not as much as the ncd

the only possibility you would have is to say you had a company car for the last year or so from when ever you turnd 18 when getting quoted as they wont be able to check this fact if it is true or not and they may be a bit more inclind to budge on the premium but you will have to talk to some one over the phone to do this and there is no guarantee especially when at the moment insurers are trying to make there books look better which is why they are being more picky about who they insure and some people may have seen there premiums shoot up as they are not seen as a viable risk
