stick to a car that is common enogth for parts but not so common is a stereo typical car such as a fiesta or nova as these will cost you more to insurer
the only thing i can say is go for an old cheep car that you could afford to lose the amount its worth a couple of hundred quid say
only get third party cover
drive it around for a year and then start to look at a better car to replace it once you have a years no claims
and even though only tpft cover if you were to have a non fault accident you can always claim via a credit hire company or solicitor who willclaim your costs and losses back from the at fault drivers insurance company
