on a side note, what's the opinion of whether this eroded waterway would be why the cooling system was getting pressurised?



The firerings themselves all look good, no sign of an actual "blow", but under hard use, the cooling system was getting pressurised and lifting the pressure cap, hence the reason for the change.... The fibre part of the gasket is pretty crispy!!
