So it is infact slightly superior to the grp a gasket, and cheaper too Ford have to pay Cosworth a royalty to sell the YB0611 "grp A" gasket, thats the only reason they are more expensive than the YB1261.
sorry Wes,but that is a standard gasket and the reason they uprated from it without the metal rings round the water jackets was to stop the corrosion around that area of the gasket! none of the 4x4 gaskets that I've used have those rings
