As title really, it seems every week or so someone asks whats needed to get to 300hp?
why?
I've got alot less in mine and its a pain in the arse in the damp let alone wet. in the dry it can spin up in 2nd if i'm in it alone. Why 300hp specifically? its not like it hasn't been done before, and wouldn't it be useless as a road toy then?
If i wanted 300hp out of my rst i'd chop the floor out, turn the engine round and make sure it had COSWORTH 16V DOHC on the top!
Am i missing the point

i'd much rather have a useable 200hp car than a 300hp car that gets used 3 times a year, on a track or airfield, in the dry, winds permitting...
