Renton DID once enter a Concours competition!!! Now this is a FUNNY story...

We had just come off the track at Silverstone in his Onion Turbo (this is about 10 years ago!!!) and he goes over to the Grass area by the Orion register stand.

The car is FILTHY, brake dust, mud, Dead flys and animals everything... but he isn't bothered as he justs wants to park up and leave it. As soon as we park a bloke comes rushing over saying you can't park here, this is reserved for the concours entrants only. He tells us we have to park miles away.

Renton pauses.... and then asks the bloke how much to enter the Concours competition. The judge replies that it is free to club members. Renton clicked his remote, locked the car, told the guy he had another competitor and walked off.

They ACTUALLY Judged it and marked a form. The car had wheels BLACK with brake dust and mud up the side from a slight 'off'

He didn't win and was sooo gutted he has yet to enter another competition
