yep the lower the profile the worse it gets in my experience i'v gone from 205/40/17 to 215/45/17 and that slightly higher profile has made it feel alot better on the shite roads but the low profile is sharper and has a better feel imho, so catch 22 which ever way you go i guess it's finding a happy medium.
i never thought about the height
ive had 40 profile and they were good. dont get me wrong the 35 are awesome until the roads get rough then its a bit of white knuckle rider
il have to live with it as tyres are almost brand new and id guess new rubber all round would be at least £500 for decent tyres
