So thats what its called when your getting started? I'am from the NorthWest mountain state of Washington. Wanting to learn all that I can to use on my 89 & 87 Merkurs. I was talking to a guy from Canada (dont hold that against me or him) and he pointed me in this direction for my turbo search(T34.48 with cosworth turbine housing) for my first Merkur project. When these cars were imported to USA Mercury dealers I was a parts guy and always liked them and I just recently acquired two of them. I've been around lots of V8 stuff hotrods,dragsters,sprint karts,stock cars and snowmobiles all my life, but reading what you guys have done with turbos and heads is just AMAZING so I'am going to give a try with my simple 2.3 OHC turbo Merkur and go from there. So if I ask stupid questions just be paitient and remember I'am just a YANK, is that still what you call someone from across the pond?
