Cheap ram, yes I agree. But it works.
Cheap motherboard, yes Gigabyte IS better, but this is still better than something like ECS (Elite Group) which are truly nasty.
Graphics card will always be limited by the fact that it is on-board, but if the OP does decide to upgrade, he can. For now, it is a compromise which, on a £150 or so budget anything will be a compromise TBH.
My previous system cost me about £400 to build a few years ago. Top brand Gigabyte AMD board, 64-bit top-spec AMD 64-bit processor, DDR400 memory, Audigy soundcard setup, top nVidia graphics and a lot more. But.... I never used it to its capacity, NEVER used the 64-bit processing and was so overkill it was unbelievable. This one is faster, smoother, works with newer technology (which neither my old one or the OP one does) and all for a fraction of the price. Yes, I will be upgrading the memory (adding not replacing) shortly, but that is all TBH until something needs to be changed.
The advantage with a system like I posted was that the cheap things can always be upgraded @ a later date should they be required to.
Unfortunately, with something like IT, there will never be a conclusive right or wrong.
