Stu,
I notice you can read someone elses PM's (PRIVATE MAILS)
Subject for another day !!!
I never said I was waiting for you or Gus to contact me.
I said that Yes, I was going to contact Gus WHEN I new what dates I
would be in the area and your copied PM in the above post clearly says this too for all to see.
"Will let you know as soon as I do" - I think this is self explanitory english language.
I was trying to say in my first post reply .....
If Gus had a problem with waiting for me to contact him then why did he not contact me
to see what was going on ????
If you and Gus did call me and got no answer on the phone,
why did you not leave an answer phone message ???
If you knew Gus did not have the unit, why make the trip unless your
initial statment about making a special trip to do this job and blaming me
for the wasted time was not actually true.
You are implying that I have sent out faulty goods knowingly which I dispute firmly.
Not all parts used within the module are available in the catalogues you have suggested.
And if you really knew electronics you would know that some electronics parts are on
long lead times and sometimes have to bought in huge quantitys.
Farnell and Arrow catalogues do not sell every type of component ever made
If only they did - life would be simpler.
Try buying the original specification 6802 microprocessor for an L6 Ecu in Farnell.......
You have publically implied that I have caused the 3 month delay which I can
prove is not so .
I have a delivery receipt to MSD and the receipt for the delivery back to me
from Gus.
How can I be expected to respond in 48 hours if the time between these two
points is months ???
As for the statement about when I got the unit back from Gus, When I had the
unit returned,
I ordered a part and had to wait for it to turn up and the fit it and retest the unit.
This all came to a head during the week running up to xmas and therfore
ran out of time to send it out.
You say there was no waranty seal on the unit, there was...
And also, there is a serial number sticker on the unit saying
"WARRANTY VOID IF OPENED"
Do you want me to take a picture and post it up for you ???
How many suppliers would give a full refund once the warranty seal has been broken ?
You say you only got mad when someone else on here made comments and
the fact that I reminded you of it when I decided to post a reply.
This implies that you take offence for me having the right to reply.
You say things these days can be sorted in 48 hours which I can mostly agree with
but this has happened all during the XMAS holidays.
Its not that simple Stu, In case you havent noticed, nearly everyone is on holiday
and some people still are !!!!
