Most clubman and National rallys you can get up close like that. You can wander round the pits, talk to the drivers and look closely at the cars etc. Then go and see them on the stages within a short walk.

Events are happening all around the country all year round and a good source for info is www.britishrally.co.uk. The calendar on that page is still set to 2004 as the 2005 one is being compiled at the moment. Just keep your eyes on it. The 2004 one is here http://www.britishrally.com/calendars/2004.asp

Don't be frightened by going on track - its not as hard as it looks and you will enjoy the day. The Derby and Durham RSOC run a track day at Croft so you could get to go on that track you were watching at yesterday If you need any help or advice just give us - or any of the track regulars on here a shout and we'll gladly help
