yeah the rattlesnake was an original from the factory aswell had the limited edition badges on it , forgot what they said now but it had the actual name of the kit on the badges , i remember them because some little shite nicked one and i had murders getting a new one.
to be honest though i thought it looked awsome but the mk3 escorts were heaps of shit and leaked everywhere! always had a puddle in both footwells and the sunroof leaked like there was just a hole there...lol
with saying that i saw both a mint mk3 xr3 and 1600i last week on the same day both red!
cant wait to get the estate , found it by pure luck , i was telling dave the other day.
went to a job and there sitting there looking all gorgeous was the estate.
turned out the guys i went to see were replacing the garage door on this guys garage and they had to move her out the way , i asked the guys to forward my number to the owner but didnt hear anything for a couple of weeks , then saw one of them and asked about it and they said the guy is going in to a home because he has altzhimers and his stuff is being cleared out in the new year so have arranged to see him after xmas.
the guys rekon he will probably let me have it rather than see it get towed to the knackers but will see him alright for it.
it really is concourse condition and would go for good money as is!
