My first car was a mk1 rs 2000 avo , all original with paperwork ,
body wise she was as clean as the day it was built but underneath all the floor and sills needed replacing and at 17 years old i didnt know where to start so i swapped it for a mk1 fiesta 1300 sport and 600 quid.
The 1300 sport was then part exed for a mk1 fiesta xr2 which was a fantastic car , that was then part exed against a mk3 xr3i with a full rattlesnake kit and twin headlight conversion.
Couldnt get insured on it at £1300 for six months....lol
to be honest i didnt like it as it leaked like a dodgy waterpipe!
This was swapped for a mini clubman which was modded but had a gearbox that sounded like a drowning cat.
Swapped this and £200 for my first mk2 escort 1.1 popular.
This was written off by someone rear ending me so i bought my first mk2 1600 sport , then a mk2 mexico , and then the mk1 1300gt.
Owned all three for a while then sold the 1300gt to my brother who still has it.
The 1600 sport and mexico then followed when my son was born and we got a mk4 orion which soon donned a full rs kit twin headlight conversion and saff coss rear spoiler
had the orion fgor 2 years and loved it!
Bought a mk5 rs2000 had that for a year .
Than a renault sceanic (piece of shit)
than 318 bmw
subaru wrx sti (written off not my fault)
another 318 bmw (written off last year)
now we have a 2003 bmw 328i which is a nice car! (quick aswell)
i am just about to seal a deal for a mint mk1 escort estate thats been zebarted and garaged its whole life ,
