Depends on the specification of the engine management system. What kind of ecu do you use? And what would happen if the Oxygen sensor(s) are not present? Limited Operating Strategy with a maximum of 4000 rpm or nothing?
We always fit a wide-band Oxygen sensor even if the management doesn't use it for logging purposes, but we're talking Group A & WRC here.
