thanks very much....i found the w mark on the alt and know its not that. and the b+ is also connected correctly....i tested the blue wire and found batt volt and tested the alt and found it was earth, when blue wire connected to alternator with ign on to acc was live... and when running charging at 13.90 with no warning light. ta very much.
