Van insurance - or any insurance, with the Post Office. Watch out for the small print!! They will automatically renew the policy, unless you say don't, and take the money from the account which paid for the original policy without consent from the account holder. Got into my partners bad books as she paid, using her credit card, last years premium. They have used the credit card details to get another years premium!! At the time they took the premium we were in Australia, so could not read any mail sent, van was in garage waiting for MOT. We are both p----ed of with Post Office! Please folks don't fall into the trap! Advice on this situation would be most welcome. We are so !!!!ed off, as tried to get insurance with another company, while Post Office have upped their premiums by 50% and debited my partner's account!! Sorry Darling not my doing!! This stopped the new deal with the cheaper insurer. What bad news all round!!
