i went for the basic hd with another set of channels (food channels for the missus +£1) 20mb broadband and a phone line

Already had a phone line, but worked out a lot cheaper to have everything swapped..

Bill will be £50 a month, and cost me around £115 for all the installation, but I get £50 M&S vouchers for the hassle...

Deal clincher for me was that virgin have only around 6 hd channels, went round my mates last night and the upscaling of normal channels is V good....
