Is there anything stopping me from removing the rear caliper-to-arm hose and the rigid pipe running along the arm, and replacing both with a single braided hose?... so in other words doing away with a connection and having braided hose from the chassis mount on the floor to the caliper itself.

I have hoses that'll run up to the inner arm lug and will look much better than existing rigid setup, even if i were to make up new ones!
