Too many men get blinded by love and get married. while the laws are as they are its not a wise decision IMO. Especially if youve got more to loose. Its a simple fact that 45% of marriages end in divorce (it used to be 40% a few years ago so notice the trend).

Plus when you inevitably have kids etc then you will be proper fucked when you split. Im not advocating men not doing right by thier kids, but of the men that do pay for the kids (the rest run off ), too many just bend over and take it up the arse to please the ex and give her everything in the deluded belief thats for the best of the kids when often its not. And the laws allow too many woman to get away with raping the man for every penny under the grounds of "its for the kids" when in reality its about her sick vendetta of revenge. And sadly the law allows it because of those men that run, so its almost as if those that dont run get tarnished with same brush and excessively penalised.

You dont need to be married these days to look after your partner if you croak if thats your concern. get a will. also being married doesnt change your responsibility to maintain your children just means you cant get fucked by your ex through the courts if you split.
