if you have drawings stating how the beams should be fitted then you must follow these

is the 2700 opening wall to wall ? if so when you place the supporting up rights either side they will be in the room anyway so the supporting beam above will look fine

that prob doesnt make sence

taking a supporting wall out and supporting is pretty basic but when the beam has to be sunk into the ceiling its starts becomming abit more technical

the steel would be around 100quid this would also need a 90 degree cleet to be made up to bolt steel / timber
