We sell a lot of cars through ebay classified ads.

It's actually a better response rate than Autotrader now. We scaled down the amount of stock to 15 on at any one time [from 50] to cut the costs down and Autotrader is STILL £575 +VAT a month.

ebay however is £82.50 a month including VAT for up to 50 [I know cos I'm doing the bills right now ]

Exchange + mart are £30+VAT a week for the same amount which I'm considering a trial with at the moment but who the fuck uses them anymore??

Autotrader's website has got SHIT in my opinion now as well. It's not as quick and intuitive and the online uploading tool for dealers is a pain in the cunt.

You do get a lot of timewasting emails through ebay but hardly nymore than I get through the autotrader. I think people are starting to realise there's other places to buy cars from and most of the dealers I know are getting fedding up with the stranglehold Autotrader had on the market and jumpsing ship.
