She became breathless again on sat night I thought if i just calm her down and get her to sleep she would recover as she had done in the past.
She became worse and worse and the look on her face of help me please was heart breaking.

It appeared to me that this was now her time she had done nothing excessive at all all day.
I comforted her through out the night as best as I could she eventually died in my arms at 7.45 am on Sunday morning
The heart break has been unreal I can only liken it to loosing a child
This has been the worse day of my life
I buried her in her favourite spot in the garden

sad time
RIP my little one gone but never forgotten
all fellow animal lovers will know how the kids and I are feeling right now

Tony - that is really sad news. I can share the pain. I remember standing in the rain, down in the woods at the bottom of our garden burying one of our dogs after they had died at the vets. Broke my heart and still does today for all of the poor buggers we had to bury down there :-(.
