Hi..all, am new proud owner of N reg escort cosworth and decided to join this site.
I have a problem with the alternator all the lights flicker when ticking over soon has you rev the car lights are ok and nice and bright, does anyone have good known unit they want to sell? seen few on ebay around £140 mark is this a good price?
also there is a belt tensioner on the right of the engine this is making a grinding sound, is it still possible to buy tensioner new from fords and is it big task changing them both (alternator&tensioner).
