The 706bhp engine dyno figure from Charlie's car - has it been put on a set of DD rollers to see what it has in the car?

Dave has an engine dyno figure of 700+ bhp @ 2.6 bar, so why is it hard to believe the figure of 600+ bhp @ 1.9 bar - the turbo is certainly big enough.

I think 600+ bhp is pretty respectible - it was certainly enough for the last engine in YUM to achieve 194mph. It is therefore fair to summise that providing conditions were favourable, the gearing and rev limit set correctly that it would achieve 200mph if it was set up to full boost. Martin's car did 202mph with 700bhp, they are the same shell etc.....

The only question is, would it have beaten Martin's speed? As 200.1mph would be enough to claim the double tonne (which Martin went back and did, as his 199mph run wasn't considered good enough by him (or anyone else ). But despite what you may think, there is a huge difference in achieving 200.1mph and 202mph, that could cost an engine OR a life. Is it really worth putting EVEYTHING on the line to appease people on the internet, you may not even know or like?

I think not, so while eveything is perfect - NOW is the time to sell / break the car.....
