Had the engine running perfect and i mean perfect it was pulling like a dream, then on way to work a few weeks ago it stalled after a little thrash and wudnt start on first time, 2nd time it was off and was running fine. Then after work i went to start it and it was just turnover. Eventually it started and was running like crap. So i took it to the garage and he had a look and says that if its revved for 5-10mins it misfires and pops, then once its warm it runs fine , so i took it away from him running fine and thought it could be sticky valves and got some treatment. however this has done nothing and she keeps trying to stall when i dip the clutch, sometimes the revs spot on 800 tho

Someones mentioned it could be a knackered oil pump, ive changed the leads and coil pack and the plugs are only a month old and its also had a oil change when the plugs were done which she had 5w/30 magnatec in her.

Shes going to the tuners on the 6th but i really need it back ASAP, oh and i forgot to mention its a 1994 1.8 130bhp zetec engine but is running in a 1996 escort on 1.6 ecu but she has a boost valve on there for the petrol and she had her timing belt done about 6months ago too.
