i replaced my timing belt and water pump , but when i put all togther the timinig wont line up it keep missing a few theth , im working with hynes manual and the engnie code is 1.3 JP the car is Ford Escort 1982.

i suspect that the belt is not sutable for my car ? shuld be square or round? the i have now is sqaure 92 teth and 19.75 width

what cars shares the same engine as my car ?
