Hmm.... You sure there was an ECU on the Mk3??? I thought the first Escort to run an ECU was the S2 turbo, and even then it still used a lot from the MFI system and then they change it to the KE-Jettronic type system.....

Oh I dunno!!! I'm just very confused now!! I didn't ECU's came on the cars pre 1986
