i know what you mean, the british justice system is an absolute joke!

I found this out personally myself, after being threatened with a loaded cross bow back in september of last year! cutting a long story short...went to magistrates they sent it to crown court as they couldn't give a big enough sentance, it then goes before a judge and jury...

who then decide that a loaded crossbow in the street pointing in the direction of someone(me!) is not an offensive weapon?????? gave the stupid bitch 60 hours community service...and no costs!

How the hell that was justice i dont know, and the message that gives out is "dont carry a gun or a knife around....carry a loaded cross bow instead"

the police may have an issue with making any prosecution as you allowed this "mate" to enter your home, and obviously whatever the guy told them to make them think it was a misunderstanding was enough for them esp. as they thought they had all the items back in your posession!

Definately keep pushing and take this further if you feel you want to! Dont let yourself get walked over!
