The oil seperator, as long as the hoses are the same size it doesn't matter what 'kit' you use, if the spec r one sits in a different place though they may not be the ideal lengths! 40mm lowering springs do tend to vary quite a bit in their drop, the fronts should be alright but you may find the rears catch depending on how stiff the dampers are as well as the wheel offset and tyre size.
