Ground floor, solid walls and the vents are above the windows. Who'd I get to sample to the fungus?

Unfortunately, the heating doesn't work either..... Storage heaters, that don't store I have 2 de-humidifiers, but I leave one in my daughters room during the day, and the other is in the living room as thats where she plays with her toys and watches In The Night Garden and so on. Thats me and the missus' room.... The other room shown is the spare room.

PS, when I'm using the de-humidifiers, they cost me £4.20...... A day

It's a ground floor 'masionette' flat.... The whole shitehole building is in a dip in the ground, and outside our window is a bog I am stuck in the lease until March, and then I'm out. Gone. Away, even if it means living with my mother in law.

Worst bit is the sheer cost of the electric. It has a split meter system, that only Scottish Hydro Electric can supply, so we can't change provider It's well expensive, and as the storage heaters don't store, I use convector heaters in the wee one's room, the living room and our bedroom. When you combine all of this, it gives an electric bill of £250-£280 per month Also, when it rains, I lose the TV picture due to the water running in the walls And it's so damp, I haven't been able to get BBC1, BBC2 and a bunch of digital channels since September

Oh, and my rent is £475 a month, and the council have valued it at £100k for some insane reason and even the not wet and rotten flats in the same place are only worth 75k, meaning council tax is £140 a month.....

Combine that lot and I could rent a fucking penthouse No wonder I'm so skint
