Why does he need to empty all the fluids out?, cant remember the right reason behind it but as far as im aware you should never dry store you car espacially of fuel.

leave the car in gear(if not jacking it up)
leave the handbrake off
block the air intake with a lint free rag
block the exhaust pipe with a lint free rag


when in storage get in it and depress the clutch, brake pedal every so often, move the car so the wheels get turning, if your not going to take it for a run let the engine turn over for 10 mins at a time

At about 6 months storage take the plugs out squirt some oil in and replace the plugs
