Have you considered tuning the 1.6 for it has alot of tuning potential the 1.7 (Puma) saw 220HP in junior WRC.

then theres the tuning side of things the 1.6se zetec is shit and dnt respond that wel wiv mods, for instances a throttled bodied 1.6 wiv cams/exhaust ect make's about 150/155bhp. my 1.8 wivout throttle bodies makes around 160bhp add the bodies 180 plus.
