Depends on what else you are doing mod wise, and what you have to start with ?, as this will dictate what is a straight fit, but the 32/36 is a ace carb, but will be DGAV and not DGAS.
You can also if tuned use a 36DGAS, or even 40DFI, if you can find one.
Some 1600 had the Pierburg 2E3, which as a carb I would have before a webber any day, as once sorted is far more economical.
