What conditions cause a turbo to run hotter than normal? Lean = higher EGT. Rich = fuel still burning in the exhaust manifold.
Any thoughts about the fact its on a restrictor Mark?

Lean or retarded or both will cause high egt also running to much boost will cause the turbo to over speed on a restrictor.
