In my experience even with an aftermarket cam (Piper 285T), tuners I have used have left it set a 0, pointing out that on a single cam engine you are just moving the power band up or down the rev range............ so YES you may gain a few extra BHP by tweaking it but it WILL be at the cost of off boost torque and response.
IMO unless your chasing BHP figures and another 5-10bhp is that important to you i'd wouldnt bother.
Also IMO on a CVH when you reach say 220-240bhp (genuine bhp!) to get any more you are always sacrificing off boost response/drivabilty.......... Big valves/ports, Big turbo, Low comp, Cam timing, etc....

Just my thoughts...
