Default Some advanced engine tuning tips... :P

We have been working hard at finding the best way to get optimum power, and as you all know its always best to start with making everything as frictionless if posible.

I would suggest to all Zetec engine owners, the easiest way to free up extra power is to remove the cam shafts and grind off all the lumpy cam bits, as this can add up to 800bhp. (on a 2 litre, typical gains on a 1.6 are around 450-500bhp, as per my mate dave down the pubs car)

If you want to go a step further allow 'infintately automatic-slip cam timing' by also removing the teeth on the cam pulleys, and then installing rhe cambelt inside out as to run the smoother, more effiecient side across the pulleys.

For those running turbos, gas flowed pistons are the only way to go, simply turn up the boost and naturally the engine will burn holes through the pistons, meaning me exhaust can escape quickly, and this is the gas flowing everyone talks about.

This advice is to be used at your own risk, but I have only heard it from reliable sources at the pub.

Oh, for an extra 30-50bhp, paint the car yellow, as this is PROVEN to be the most aerodynamic colour :P

Anyone else any tips?

Matt
