I have a traders policy with Roadrunner,im full time employed mechanic and part time mechanic working for myself at nights,have a 3rd party policy with my dad as a named driver,can drive anything anytime and covers all my own vehicles for £300!! Have had some quotes that wanted proof that i was a trader and employed my dad,and that he had seperate insurance for his van,but most dont bother.Policies are available for anybody,be it part time or full time,and with or without premesis.

Check out the Autotrader as they have heaps of companies in the back of it,try them.

I did have a policy with tradex years ago but found them to be the dearest now.
