Default My abscence of late

I have not been about much lately, I apologise for this but one of my dogs has been extremely ill and I have been pre occupied visiting vets and taking her to the dogs equivalent of A and E where they managed to revive her.

2 k later and a trip to Coventry we now have the answer, she has a faulty heart valve known as mitral valve stenosis which in humans is operable but in anamals it isn't.Apparently she was born with this and it is very rare in jack russels and dogs rarely live beyond 2.5 years she is now 5.5 and has shown no signs of illness up until this last 3 months, she has been given 18 months to live and is on numerous expensive heart pills and meds.
Very sad times indeed devasted does not describe how I feel
My kids are aware of her illness but I haven't told them how long they have given her
