o.k thanks loads for the help I think im going to take the car off the road in two months for the winter and am going to strip it down to see if there are any nasty suprises waiting for me but from what ive seen so far its got a very good shell. I think im going to go for an engine from an xr3i for now as its the easiest swap and learn from there and thanks to your knowledge and when the cash comes in then purchase a rs turbo. i look forward to doing this project happy days.
