You don't need daytime running lights on a Cosworth. The law wasn't passed when they were manufactured. Cosworth speedos have KMS on them and MPH. Fine. you don't need a recall issue since it's from overseas.

You need to pay PST and GST taxes plus %8.1 duty on foreign cars. Then you need to have Canadian Tire do your federal inspection. You get a two year exemption from Aircare as well.

The rules for importing a less than 15 year old car from the US are different from importing from overseas.

Again, importing into Canada from the USA is quite different. Once the car is 15 years old it gets vastly easier.
