Just seen this thread (god knows how I missed it!!!!) - some awesome work there. How did you all get into doing it? I've got loads of 1/18 models at home and wouldnt mind trying it. Havent been through all pages but do I presume its just a case of stripping them down, painting, buying aftermarket bits from ebay (UK I presume?). Do all bits almost fit each other or is it brand specific (ie, Burago etc)???

Very impressed by them all!
