I have experience in a couple of countries in regards to the recession and good ol browny is handling it the worst, IMO, Im going to try and keep this short and not get on a whole political rant about how shit they are, in regards to the 2.
What does al gore have to gain by people recycling and lowering their emmisions?? you should really look into the background of the global warming swindle film you mention because its all old research and oppinions that have since been proven wrong, it was probably funded by opec or similar who want you using their products.. I agree that more trees should be planted, and build less chavvy/asylum council houses.
Shutdown of Thermohaline Circulation, wiki that mate

The Government didnt give anyone the credit. Financial Institutions gave the people the credit.
The economy was very stable for 10 years, this was not a flash in the pan it was sustained, but very slow and stable growth, which gave record low inflation, low unemployment etc.
It was the collapse of the banking system in the US that caused the credit crunch, that has led to the world recession, it is nothing to do with the UK Government
Funny, most financial pundits think we're handling it pretty well and although unemployment is still rising we are officially out of recession and as the unemployment figures are always a few months behind then things arent as bad as the media would like everyone to think.
If you have watched the Great Global Warming Swindle you will understand that much of what has gone on in this country was to do with Margret Thatcher, she had seen what the power of the unions, in particular the miners had done to previous Tory government and was not going to have that happen to her, she did not trust the arabs and didnt want to be beholding to them for oil, so her agenda was to discredit fossil fuels, smash the unions and rely on nuclear power and our own reserves of North Sea Gas, with Nuclear being the saviour of us all.
The discrediting of fossil fuels was the start of the global warming swindle, back in the early 70's we thought we were heading from an ice age.... Hmm got that wrong eh.
As it has now come to pass this was short termism we have closed our mines even though there are millions of tonnes of coal under our feet, we are now buying in coal and gas from abroad and potentially will be held to ransom by our Eastern European neighbours to heat our own homes and light our own factories etc
Thats what you have to thank the Tories for.
Dont get me wrong I am as disillusioned with the state of the nation as the next man, but at the end of the day its the best of a bad job.
As for national debt and the day of reckoning they can start by doing away with this £38 road tax for little gay cars and the zero road tax on even gayer cars like the BMW One. Charge the feckers £100, its still a good deal even at that.
