do you really have to ask if its morally right to pay for an unisured driver car?

i was reversing off my drive ages ago when some know stopped right behind me to answer his phone. i didnt see him and bang, put a dent in the door shut of his shitty celica.

told him to get a quote, then found out he was unisured. got told to fuck right off and go tot he police if he felt he wanted to take it any further
